It All Started With a WordEvery Australian has an inner bogan. It might be beautifully disguised beneath designer clothing, impeccable manners or a university degree, but trust me, it's in there somewhere.

Australians are renowned for their colourful language, their larrikin spirit and their ability to take the piss. We tend to appreciate someone who's fair dinkum, straight up and not afraid to have a bloody good laugh, especially at themselves.And somewhere in that glorious cultural landscape, Kali Kunti began to emerge.

It All Started With a Word

When I was growing up, I was teased at school. But by the age of ten, around 1980, I'd discovered something rather extraordinary.

The word CUNT had power.Say it loudly enough, and people stopped in their tracks.

It could shock, silence and completely derail whatever was happening around me.Naturally, I was delighted.And so, at the tender age of ten, I decided this magnificent little four-letter word deserved a permanent place in my vocabulary.Little did I know just how useful it would become.

Finding My Inner Cunt

As life progressed, I encountered more than a few situations that gave me excellent reasons to bring out my inner cunt and let her shine.But something else was happening too.I was exploring the metaphysical and spiritual worlds, developing my own understanding of energy, intuition, consciousness and all the wonderfully unconventional things that don't always fit neatly into everyday conversation.And, being me, I wasn't about to abandon my Australian vocabulary at the door of spiritual enlightenment.Quite the opposite.

Soon, phrases like “I channel from my cunt” and “I'm so enCUNTed right now!” were rolling off my tongue with absolutely no regard for spiritual respectability.Because who decided spirituality had to be solemn?Who decided wisdom couldn't arrive with a wicked sense of humour and a spectacular swear word?Certainly not me.

Who the Cunt is Kali Kunti

Eventually, I decided it was time to let my inner cunty shine in all her glory.And so Kali Kunti was born.An unapologetic, gloriously unconventional aspect of myself who combines intuitive wisdom, metaphysical insight and Australian humour.

Underneath the colourful language and the laughter, Kali has a genuine purpose.To encourage people to look within, question their assumptions, recognise their own wisdom and perhaps stop taking themselves quite so seriously.

Kali doesn't predict your future, and she isn't interested in telling you whether your latest romantic obsession is your destined soulmate.She believes in personal choice, self-awareness and the extraordinary possibilities that open up when we begin to understand ourselves.She'll tell it straight, have a laugh and occasionally deliver a loving metaphysical kick up the arse.

Because wisdom doesn't need to whisper, enlightenment doesn't require perfection, and being spiritual doesn't mean you can't say cunt.
